I’ve searched the help and the forums – and played with the settings as much as I can. Maybe the answer is in front of me – but I can’t for the life of me do what I want:

I made a model of a mug and I simply want to place a logo on it without that godforsaken white box around it. Thought I could bring in a vector file with transparent background (EPS) and C4D would pick it up. It doesn’t. I also tried this with the football helmet model include – trying to replace “your logo here” with something that has transparency. Nothing again. Can anyone help me find something that gives me the answer I need – or can outline the steps for me?
    Thanks in advance.

You have to place the transparent material in the Cinema material’s alpha channel as well as the color channel. You may then need to click on the texture>[file name] button and then click Layerset…Select to pick the alpha channel.
