PLA Ease In
Posted by Justin Puda on February 5, 2009 at 12:50 amHello,
Is there any way to make a PLA animation ease in? I can’t seem to find a way to do this.

February 5, 2009 at 3:38 amThanks! I was looking for how I could do this. So I added the special track – time track. I went into the f-curve editor on the timeline and made it easy ease. But my animation still isn’t easing in or out. Am I missing a setting?

February 5, 2009 at 4:24 amIf you click on your PLA track and look in the attributes manager you’ll see a slot for “Time Track”. Drag your time track from the timeline into that slot and you should be good to go.
You can also use the Bias setting for individual keys on a PLA track. Not quite as flexible as tangent handles, but it can do a basic ease-in/out.
