Hi Masters. I’m relatively new to AE so forgive me if my question is silly.

I need to create a swf banner from png files and realized that it would be a good idea to animate it on AE and export as swf.

All good, images cristal-clear but when exported they’re very pixelated.

I’ve exported as swf maximum jpeg quality and both rasterized and ignored insupported features. Tried to export flv and xfl, with rubbish results.

Any ideas of what to do or should I start from zero on Flash?

    Thanks!

Try rendering an FLV, not exporting. Is your project’s dimensions the same as your output file? Make sure they match, or if they are different, the output file being smaller would yield a better looking result than “scaling up” a larger version.

    Thanks Scott!!!

Actually the dimensions matched and I’ve got a quite poor flv by rendering. I’ve tried, though, to add 0.2 gaussian blur in each of my layers and got the best result so far 🙂

But, still, thank you from your insights.

    Cheers!
