    hello !

Can you point a pluginpack or plugin out, that can create pixelated images out of normal footages ?

I would like to have the look of a monitor (or a mobilephone’s display) as watched by very close / zoomed into. This way the rgb subpixels and the ‘shapes’ of the pixels can be seen.

Do you know anything like this out there ?

It dont have to be an AE stuff, would be great for PS as well.
thanks for any responses in advance!

I assume this means you want something more advanced in some regard than Stylize > Mosaic? You can get some decent pixelation effects with Generate > Grid and Stylize > Mosaic combined.

Are there any specific requirements for the look you’re after?

Download Pete’s plugins for after effects https://www.petewarden.com/
and try the “tv pixel” effects.

Is it possible that those plugs won’t work with CS3?

Well, they won’t work with Intel Macs, since Pete Warden doesn’t seem to have much time to develop any Universal Binary version of it…
    too bad…
