Pixela question
I have a question about Pixela ImageMixer 3, the software that came with my Canon HF M300 AVCHD camera. As you probably know, AVCHD is recorded in 2GB chunks and must be reassembled.
Importing the files with ImageMixer 3 seems to only copy them as is to the hard drive.
I tried the copy /B 00000.MTS+00001.MTS final.m2ts trick. It took four and a half minutes for my computer to assemble the two files.
I tried using ImageMixer to reassemble the same two files using the Movie Edit technique described at https://www.pixela.co.jp/oem/canon/e/pixela_application_disc_ver20/qa_ans_4.html . I got bored after 20 minutes of having my processor pegged at 100%, at which point it had only completed 35% of the operation.
It appears that ImageMixer is re-rendering the files. Is there any way to import MTS files from the camera directly to a single M2TS file, with Pixela, without re-rendering?
Thanks,
Mango
