Pixel ratio import trouble
I have some footage that was shot on (I believe) wide screen squeeze mode. When i try to import it into FCP4.5 using the NTSC anamorphic preset it refuses to resize it. It show up in the log and capture browser the correct size but when the captured footage comes in, it is in the standard pixel ratio and thus still squeezed. I have also tried to capture using the capture now option to the same end.
Am i missing something??
Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Where are you watching those clips? With QT player?
Have a look if in the FCs Browser they are checked on in the Anamorphic column.
