Sorry not sure this is the right forum.. one pixel was gone on a rental camera.. didnt see it straight away..
but its close to the centre.. tiny white dot.. fixed it with black balance easy enough..
So my question.. can a one pixel problem like this be corrected in post?

    Thanks

Most of the time yes. Really depends on the shot and what is in it.
But you fixed it on the shoot then?

You can mask a dot out by doubling up your video track and masking a spot right next do it.

    HI Chris

Yes a burnt out pixel can be fixed by doing a black balance .. I think it just switches it off.. we did re shoot but I was just wondering if there is an easy way in post to get rid of this tiny white dot.. it was over quite a few shots.. but extremely hard to see..
