    Hi Guys,
Im currently having what appears to be either a problem inside after effects or a hardware issue.
The problem occurs on slightly more complex projects, (like ones with alot of effects or layers).
I get alot of pixel noise in my image, the colors usually white for no apparent reason at all.
The noise changes position and frequency either when i scrub through the timeline or play it back after a RAM preview.
Also when i use track mattes on projects that are a bit more memory intensive sometime the mattes dont really appear correctly, lots of pixel noise, morphing,or color bleeding.
Ive checked on adobes website for the system requirements and my system appears to have the right specs.
    Heres what i have:
Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 3
    Intel Core 2 Due E4500 @ 2.20GHZ
    2 Gig of RAM
    Nvidia Gefore 8500GT 512MB
    Screen Res: 1680 1050

Ive checked and my card is Open GL enabled and running on the highest settings.

Any Help would be fantastic, i have a still image that i can email someone if youd like to actually see what im talking about.
    Cheers,
    Dustin.

Try turning off the openGL. (on the composition window and on the render queue as well) AE does not seem to get along well with it. (lots of posts in the forum about the reason)

If I got what you said I´ve had the same problem in the past.

I just cannot remember if my RAM previews where also ugly. But definitely my renders looked awfull. Specially when I worled with 3D and lots of effects and layers.

    Good luck.

    Cheers.

    ninguem.
