  Pixel Harvest in LA

  Hello LA based friends.

  This is a crosspost from Indie Films and Docs, not sure if that’s bad nettiquete, if it is, I apologize in advance.

  Have any of you ever worked with Pixel Harvest (offers $0.03/frame 10 bit Cineon scans), or chosen not to work with them for any reason?

  I am attempting an ‘in-house DI’, I have about 9k feet of neg, and I’d like to get it converted to data as losslessly as possible, and handle every step forward (with the exception of layback) myself.

  If there are other low-cost scanning houses in the LA area you would recommend, that would be great as well.
