Pixel Aspect Ration Pertaining to Vector Art
Hey, I am putting together a introanimation for display on a large 1080 HD television before a long video loop of 3D Animation for the Architectural firm I work for. I am incorporating their logo into the animation, and it is a vector from Illustrator. Now naturally, vector art has no pixel aspect ratio but I am rendering everthing 59.94 fps with 1.33 pixel aspect ratio at HD resolution so it looks optimal on the display, and obviously, when I bring in the vector art, it gets distorted in the main comp with the different pixel aspect ratio. I did the math and figured I would need to scale it up 33 percent on the width to counteract the distortion, I just dont want to render and play it at the conference and see that something went wrong because of mixed pixel aspect ratios. Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Thanks in advance!
