  • Pixel Aspect Ratio – Importing Videos and Rendering

I’m going to be working on a project later this week, and I think I’m going to shoot some video to put on a 3D TV Monitor I’m going to model and place in the scene. If I shoot MiniDV, which has a pixel aspect ration of .9 to 1, and I render out DV footage, also with a pixel aspect ration of .9 to 1, will the video footage in the render be squashed? Or does Cinema 4d translate it so it comes out right? I guess my question is this: when importing video as a texture in a material, does cinema 4d take pixel aspect ratio into account, or should I fix it in after effects before importing it into Cinema 4D?
