Pitiful Tech “support” – I may bail.

I did not try Adobe Media Cleaner but put it in my notes for the next occurrence. Thanks for the suggestion. I have not heard that one before.
I understand the process for shaking out problems and usually follow it but was on deadline so decided to uninstall and reinstall Premiere. I used the uninstaller in the Premiere App folder. When I went to reinstall off the cloud, it still showed that it was installed.
The hitch here is that there are two uninstallers for Premiere. One in the normal place – inside the Premiere app folder and another in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe installers folder.
To uninstall Premiere Pro (family) you must also uninstall Encore as it shares resources with Premiere. Once I “re-un-installed” from that uninstaller, I could reinstall it clean.
I have not experienced the same fatal error because I have been on shoots this week but will give the COW community a try with all the specifics should it happen again.
