Pinpointing exception error suring export
I’m trying to export a sequence from media composer to a quicktime reference file and i’m getting an exception error: “Exception: omfiHPDomain_ERROR_Closing_domain” . Before I dive into the usual corruption fixes, I wanted to see if anyone has had a similar exception error during export and could point me down the best path.

Additional info:
I renamed all the database files on all the unity drives that this sequence is associated with. No luck.
The error comes up after the export passes the 99% mark.
The dialogue box says “creating video effect 1 of 1”.
We digitize media at 20:1 MXF, and this exception has omfi in the text.
Any ideas? -
I haven’t experienced this particular error but I would export the project by act to pinpoint where the problem is.

Thanks for the reply John. The problem was temporarily solved by rendering out the entire sequence and adjusting the QT Reference option (unchecked the rendering section). It made the file just fine, but this problem will come back…I can sense it! Anyone else?
