Pinnacle Studio 12 Preview of Boris Effects
Hi,
New to the forum, thanks for all the great posts! I bought Pinnacle Studio Ultimate 12 with Boris Graffiti v5.2. I am able to create titles and text just fine inside of graffiti and even view them inside the graffiti preview screen.
The problem arises when I hit “ok” and try to apply that effect to the video clip inside of Pinnacle. It takes HOURS (or Days) to show up properly in the Pinnacle Preview Window and shows as it is still in “background rendering” according to the Pinnacle Timescale. I’m hoping this is just user error somehow!Some information about my machine.
HP a1600n
2 GB RAM
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 2.00 GHz
Video Card = GEForce 8400GS (with dedicated 512MB)I enabled Hardware Acceleration, have the preview screen in “Draft” mode, and have background rendering enabled.

Hi Craig,
I’m assuming that there must be something missing from the product installation as we have not had any other reports of this problem before now. I suggest that you get in touch with our support department – one of the support technicians can aid you in getting the program to behave as expected.
