November 3, 2010 at 1:34 pmThanks guys, appreciate it, according to Todd there is a fix, which he got 3 weeks ago, anyone know why there’s such a delay releasing it to the public?

November 3, 2010 at 1:46 pmThe fix is sort of a pain if you think about it.. It’s not like the CS5 pro res Aja user base is tiny and a fix like this can be easily screwed up. They might be waiting for it to be a bug fix in CS5 or AJA drivers.

It’s better than CS4. That one you had to change a few files to be updated for ProRes. It has nothing to do with AJA, but rather that CS4 didn’t have the proper ProRes language.

November 5, 2010 at 1:07 pmI just had the opposite problem. All ProRes media is fine on a 16 bit project, but some 8 bit PhotoJpeg stock images turned blue. Transcoding them to ProRes fixed it.
Weird.
