    Hi Everybody

I am trying to export a 4:3 quicktime file to DVC PRO HD 720P 60 codec. When I do this, the picture comes all streched. Is there a setting in compressor that will take the 4.3 image and maybe pillarbox it to retain the correct ratio of hte picture.

    Many thanks.

    Zee.

Your best bet may be to try to drop your image into a 16:9 DVCPRO Sequence in FCP then export that. It the sequence is tagged at 16:9 and your footage as 4:3 it should pillarbox it automatically. It will take plenty fo render time in FCP to do the sizing but it should work. Test with a small piece of footage first to be sure.
