PID Injection: Mpeg-2 compression: Video PID, Audio PID, and PMT PID
I have recently compressed a .MOV to Mpeg2. We loaded it onto our IPTV video server only to realize that without the “PMT PID” Program Managment Table, and hexadecimal values for the Video and Audio stream, called the video and audio PID’s the server can’t identify the two streams.
Is there a way to inject this information into a .mpg file?
Pad Method Cable Lab Specs (packets)
PMT PID 1E0 Hex
Video PID 1E1 Hex
Audio PID 1E2 Hex
Stream Header Intervial 100ms or less -
