Picture Slide Show Time Duration Setting for all Pictures
I am constructing a picture slide show withing Vegas, and would like ot adjust the display time across all pictures once, not invidually for each picture in the timeline. Does anyone know of there is a command or setting that can be changed to accomplish this?

Options – Preferences – Editing and adjust the length in the box as shown below.
This screenshot is from Vegas Pro but it should be very similar to what you have.

The option mentioned by Mike, is effective only for new slides that you place on the timeline. If you want to change existing images, you can use various scripts. One of them is Quick Properties from Vegasaur toolkit: https://vegasaur.com/quick-properties

Thanks. This looks interesting. Does this tool also allow you to automatically take space out of your timeline? For example, I was editing movie media and taking out portions here and there to reduce size. In the end, I had 20 or so gaps that I needed to push together to make it one continuous stream. I ended up working from back to front and using the “Select to End” feature to grab grab all media to right and slide it to left. Is there a tool that would automatically slide everything together and save the position of my markers?

Yes, Close Gaps one-click commands will remove all the gaps between events. It’s simple like that.
If you want to remove all timeline gaps and automatically move markers/regions, use Project Auditor tool.
