Picture quality comparo between XDCam HD and HVX?
Has anyone taken a look at the image quality side by side between the new Sony XDCam and the HVX200?
If so, any thoughts?

Not against the HVX-200 but against the Varicam. Check Tim Duncan’s post over at:

Also if you have subscribed to the Creative Cow magazine Tim has done a very comprehensive write up of the XDCam HD plus some observations about it vis a vis the Sony F900 and the Pana Varicam. Very interesting to say the least. I would have to agree with him that it’s about the quietest camera I have seen in the blacks, very nice indeed!
