Picture Profiles
Is there documentation/info on all of the adjustments in the picture profile menu anywhere? I’d like to get a better grasp on exactly what all of the controls are doing. For instance in the Gama settings, whats going on when I select STD3 over CINE1? And what is the level control doing to those settings? I can see the difference, but want to have a more in depth knowledge of what exactly is happening, and what the function is of all the controls. There certainly has to be some literature on this. Thanks for any info that can be provided!

There is some good info on YouTube. Search for “sony picture profiles” or something similar. Also, google it.
