I am new to Premiere Pro and I’ve run into a problem that I can’t figure out. My pictures are coming out blurry. To just open the picture, it comes out clean and crisp, but when I lay it into the sequence it looks blurry and you lose detail. It seems that the higher the quality of the picture, the poorer it is viewed in the sequence. I thought it was because I scaled them wrong, but I went back through and fixed all of the scaling and when I brought the pictures in I had the “scale to dimensions” clicked on. My settings are as follows:

    Editing Mode: DV Playback
    Time Base: 25 frames/sec
    Frame Size: 720×576
Pixel Aspect Ratio: D1/DV PAL 1.067
    Fields: Lower Field first
Display format: 25 frames per second timecode
Title Safe Area: 20% horizontal and vertical
Action safe Area: 10% horizontal and vertical
Scale clips to project dimensions when adding to sequence – checked

    Video Rendering
    Compressor DV PAL
    Color Depth: millions
    Optimize Stills – checked

How can I make the pictures clear with good detail?
