    Hi guys!
If I want to parent a layer to the mask path of another layer how would I do that? I can parent the path of the mask to the said layer but not vice versa. I have key frames on the mask I need to use for another layer. If that makes sense? 🙂

    Thanks!

I’m sorry, Christopher, but I don’t understand what it is you’re looking to do, and the way you’re talking about parenting has me completely confused.

Can you describe what it is you want to accomplish, not how you’d like to accomplish it?

It doesn’t. I think you may be using terms incorrectly. Parenting and “linking with expressions” are two different things. (Even though you can use a pickwhip kind of thing for both.)

Some screenshots might help explain what you are trying to do.

Wait! I think I figured out what you meant!
Would this thread be a clue?
