    Hey everyone,

    It’s not really a problem but I were wondering if you could link a value from one object like effector to other effector? (For example linking size in Fallout tag) Similar to the pick whip in After Effects. If so, how would you make the link in Cinema 4D?

    Cheers,
    +Z

    You can do this via Xpresso , https://robertleger.net/blog/ is a good place to learn.

    Or using the driver tag in the character tags menu.

    Hope this helps

    Cinema also has a way to automate the Xpress setup. In this case what you would do is:

    1. right-click on the falloff size parameter (the word “size”);
    2. choose Animation>Set driver;
    3. right-click on the size parameter of the other effector;
    4. choose Animation>Set driven (absolute).

    That’s it. Absolute means that it will have exactly the same value and relative means that, whatever size it is now, it will be sized proportionately when you scale the falloff of the driver effector.
