pic to scene
Posted by Jim Williams on June 24, 2016 at 2:00 amHow do you turn a single picture into a video scene? I want to use a pic behind a speaker via green screen.

June 24, 2016 at 1:13 pmJim, in Premiere Pro you would place your image you want as a background in track 1. Place your footage shot on green screen or blue screen on track 2.
Then, in Effects->Video Effects, drop Ultra Key onto your track two clip. Adjust as you need to get your key.
Here’s a link to using Ultra Key in Premiere Pro:

System:
Dell Precision T7600 (x2)
Win 7 64-bit
32GB RAM
Adobe CC 2015.02 (as of 6/2016)
256GB SSD system drive
4 internal media drives RAID 5
Typically cutting short form from HD MP4 and P2 MXF.Some contents or functionalities here are not available due to your cookie preferences! This happens because the functionality/content marked as “Google Youtube” uses cookies that you choosed to keep disabled. June 24, 2016 at 3:40 pmOkay, that’s good. The question is what determines the time length of a still file? Is the length of the clip its being joined with?

June 24, 2016 at 3:50 pmDidn’t matter, the duration can be set independently, you can just click & drag/extend the image.

June 25, 2016 at 2:16 pmWhat Oki said. I believe the default is 5 seconds, but it doesn’t matter. Drop it in the timeline and make it any length you need.
