PI3 not working since attempting free upgrade
Hi. Looking for some help here. Irregular user and forum member at best but…
Just tried doing the point release free upgrade from the ‘check for upgrade’ dialog. The update seemed to fail and now I can;t run PI3 at all. I consiostently get an error saying “application has failed to start because a side by side config is incorrect”. Tried the obvious reset config and that gave the same error also.
Any adivce?

Either look in the wondertouch folder of your Documents folder for the update backups folder and copy the old exe from there to your particleIllusion Program Files folder, or use the 3.0.4 “update” installer that’s on our website to restore 3.0.4.1.
Then when it’s working again you can r-click on the pI3 shortcut and “run as administrator” and try the update again.
