    Hi all!
Used this forum to make up my mind…and glad I picked Particle Illusion! I am learning every time I use it.
Ok my first (of many) problem: I am using a BMP file as a background ans as stencil. Having effects show only through the letters. It is 1920 X 1080, when I go to render I only get the “effects” no background. So what am I doing wrong?
Render as AVI, Render starts up fine.

    Thanks
    Steve

Are you saying that the stencil is not working when you render?

If so, it’s probably an issue with pIRender (which is probably launching to do your 1080 render). Try launching pIRender manually, then click the Options button and turn off hardware acceleration. Then try your render again as usual.

(When you use an image as stencil, it’s not visible.)

    Alan.

Yes, well it does not show up on the final render.
I changed the size of the BMP and it rendred good “inside PI”.
I will try your advise asap.

    Thanks!
    Steve
