Photoshop video preview
Posted by Robin on July 24, 2005 at 12:17 pmCan anybody tell me how to preview my photo on the external monitor using DL Extreme? I’m using Photoshop CS2 and when I try to Export -> Send Video Preview to Device, it tells me no device connected. I’ve tried other software (FCP, AE, Soundtrack Pro, combustion) all work fine. Please advise.

July 25, 2005 at 3:06 amHi,
The correct option should be Export > Blackmagic Image Export….
Can you check if DeckLink Importer and DeckLink Exporter are in the Import/Export folder. Import/Export is located within Photoshop’s plug-in folder. If they are not in there, then it may not be installed correctly. Do a search system wide for the 2 files and move them there.

You rock. Found my files in Application Support / Blackmagic Design / Blackmagic Decklink. Copied them over to Photoshop and it’s all good now.
Thanks,

August 8, 2005 at 3:40 amHi Dennis,
I did a search on my computer to find those files. I’m not sure if spotlight can find it but I used the search in finder to get those files. Hope that helps.
Cheers,
-Robin
