I know this topic has been asked before but I’m hoping some progress has been made since the last post – maybe six months ago.

Is there a plug-in for Photoshop CS4 that will allow for video previews through the Blackmagic devices? I know one exists for Firewire output (Adobe supplied), however, that does no good since the setup will change when outputting through the Multibridge.

The main reason for previewing to a video monitor is to check colors and contrast in graphics. If Firewire output is used, the levels are drastically different than when using SDI, so it does no good to preview using Firewire.

    Primary System Info –
    Mac Pro 2×3.2 Quadcore – 10.5.8 – QT 7.6.2 – 20 GB RAM – nvidia8800GT – SATA internal & external storage – Blackmagic Multibridge Pro (Not Functioning)- Open GL 1.5.10 – Wacom Intous2 tablet – AJA io

    For sure!

We have been shipping the plugins that is installed by the drivers for a long time!

In Photoshop, it is located under File > Export in the Photoshop menu.
