Sorry if this has been answered someplace in the forums before but I’ve searched many times and cannot find it.

I have a 1280X720 Pro Rez 422 sequence. I created some titles in FCP and some in Photoshop with an alpha. When I send my finished video to Compressor and use the Quicktime H.264 preset to compress, the FCP titles look great but the Photoshop titles aren’t crisp. The edges are blurry and on some, there is a line going through the top of the letters like it might be interlaced or something. What do you think the issue could be here and how do I make them look better?

    Any help is much appreciated.

Are you scaling or moving the psd in fcp?

I made some text smaller in FCP but did not put a move on it. Just made it smaller overall.

Right. A scaled or moved image never looks good in FCP. Better to make it the size and position you want in photoshop.

That seems to have done it. Thank you!
