    Hello all.

I just upgraded to Photoshop CS2 (along with the rest of the suite) and the damnedest thing keeps happening. Upon start-up, it works perfectly. When opening a photo or graphic it seems terribly slow compared to the last version. Once I begin to work with a photo, my mouse tends to freeze up seemingly at random with respect to the tool I’m using, and it happens at odd and unpredictable intervals. Adobe’s response was that I might need more RAM, but 2GB or 3200 DDR SHOULD be plenty for 8 x 10 photos…wouldn’t you think?

    Here’s what I know:

    A. My video card drivers are both compatible and opperating as expected.
    B. The computer is VERY fast with dual 3.6 Intel chips.
    C. I am not utilizing a VIA chipset.
    D. All drives and components new and working pefectly in all other aspects.
    E. I’ve cleared and reinstalled it twice with no solution.
    F. I’ve dumped my PS preferences numerous times with no perceived difference.

    Any ideas?
