    Hello all,

I’ve got a problem with Inverting masks in photoshop. If I invert a mask, the new mask is a bit smaller than the original mask.
If my layers are two identical images with a mask applied to one layer and the inverted mask applied to the other layer, I’d expect to see the whole picture. But there is a small empty ‘edge’ around the mask-shape.

I can’t explain it really well, but i hope this screenshot will make it clear. There’s a small edge around her face.

I set all the refine-edge and feather options to 0, so that can’t be the problem I guess.

I also found out the problem isn’t the inverting itself; If I duplicate the mask to another layer without inverting it, the duplicated Mask is a bit bigger than the original mask.

    Who can help me?

    Thanks in advance!

    Iris
