  Photoshop Import Problem

  I’m having an issue currently with the import of some simple PS files. Once I import the item, it shows up with the warning, “This layered Photoshop file was not saved with a composite image.”

  I’m not doing anything different that I have been for the past 8 years, as far as I know. I use AE every single day of my life (even to my wife’s dismay!)

  If I then choose “Replace Footage>With Layered Comp, it works just fine. But I don’t want to do that. Most of the time the file contains just one layer.

  It doesn’t happen with every PS file.

  It’s not stopping me, it’s just got me perplexed.

  I’m running AE 6.5 and Photoshop CS on OS 10.3.6
