    im dying here.

i’ve never had issues such as these. photoshop keeps freezing whenever i click on a layer (when there are more than one) or the text tool.

i’ve tried deleting non system fonts, resetting my prefs AND changing the default printer.

    i’m stuck. any thoughts?

Good start on what you have tried so far.

Check your hard disk, you may have a bad sector, and Photoshop uses alot of virtual memory. Also update your graphics card, and go to the site for your motherboard and download any updates.

Is this consistent, can you make it happen every time, or is it more random? Does this happen in any other programs, or do you use any others on a regular basis.
