I take logos and add soft white edges to them in Photoshop. Then import these into the Avid. works great. Except I cannot adjust the white glow, I basically have to guess how big to make it Photoshop.

The question is: Is there any way to adjust the glow within Avid, perhaps in avid fx?

Thanks in advance for any help.

the glow is an unwanted thing?
Sounds like premultiplied vs straight alpha.
do a Save As from photoshop to PNG. That has straight alpha and you have worry free, clean import.

No, I actually want the glow. I just want to be able to adjust it once I’m inside Media Composer.

Now, what i do is go back and forth between Photoshop & Avid until i get it right … usually 2 or 3 times, so its not that big a deal.

I just want to know if i can adjust a Photoshop file from within MC.

    thanks, phil
