I am trying to get a logo from photoshop into FCP. I can import fine, however ther color of the logo…very RED…is washed out. Also the black text is washed out. I understand computer monitors vs ntsc monitors, but this is really poor. Also their is a way to much “frequency movement” in the logo and text. Any suggestions on how to get a good quality logo on the screen.

original file was an eps, converted it to a psd in photoshop

Was it originally a CMYK file?

If it was, was it converted to RGB?

FCP doesn’t like CMYK. That’s a print format.

Check that, and post back if that’s not it.

I opened the Rasterized Generic EPS file, which was in RGB mode and then saved it as a photoshop file…all of that was done in Photoshop. I then imported it into FCP. Also a better way to describe the movement within the image is “ringing”

    Any ideas???
