photoshop file not working well with AE
I must be missing something obvious here so bear with me.
I’m importing a photoshop file into AE using the “as a composition” box checked and can’t get them into a composition window in the correct order and correct placement. The objects want to snap to the center point each time.
I thought I was doing this quite easliy in times past.
What have I forgotten?

are you dragging them down from the project window? If so, don’t, open up the comp that came in when you imported the file and then copy/paste them out of there into one of your other comps. I think that will work
