The pencil, brush, smudge, blur and erase features on my PS Elements 3.0 are not working properly. I’ve repaired and reinstalled the program to no avail. I have limited use, if any, of these tools. They occassionally work with a particular brush type or size. Before, they functioned smoothly with any default or specialty brush. Seems as if I have unchecked a box someplace and deactivated these tools. Sounds odd, but it has me puzzled.

    Thanks for any help.

You should probably try posting in the Photoshop Elements forum. I, for one, have never used it before.

Actually, The Photoshop Elements Forum is where I posted it. It appearantly has been combined with PS basics. I still need help.

So it has… it seems that the link unnecessarily redirects you to the old photoshop elements forum which then redirects you to this forum. Ahh, the idiosyncrasies of the COW =)
