  Photoshop Elements 3 corrupt install

  Hi Guys…

  I installed PSE3 on an XP Home Laptop a while ago.
  Worked for a while then suddlenly stopped working.

  I can get to the menu that let’s me choose the type of work I want to do, but after that it opens most of the way and then says that something is corrupt (as I recall it’s a layout or template or something) and refuses to open.

  I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

  I’ve tried registry mechanic and then reinstall.

  I’ve tried trashing the prefs during stratup….

  Nothing seems to have helped.

  The uninstaller obviously doesn’t grab everything, and then when you install again, the old corrupt file doesn’t get reinstalled….or it must be something that is generated dynamically and is not part of the install set.

  I really don’t want to have to rebuild the machine again to make this happen….but if I gotta, I gotta….

  Any clues?

  If anyone has a complete list of where PSE3 keeps all it’s files….I will uninstall and then delete the left overs manually…..
