  Photoshop CS5.1 with Lion

  Hello,

  I recently upgraded to Lion and was suddenly having an issue with opening Photoshop files. Photoshop and all its windows will open, but the document itself does not appear. Even the layers window with the layers for the document I’m working on will open and are not grayed out, but the image itself does not open. And although these Photoshop windows do open, they are frozen. I can’t drag any of the open windows around nor can I open another document or create a new one. When this happens I have to quite Photoshop and restart my computer. I can then open a Photoshop file and everything works fine. I have uninstalled and re-installed and verified the fonts. I have some fonts that have problems with ‘name’ table structure and ‘kern’ table structure and contents. Could these be causing a problem. If so, how do I fix the font problems? I have already removed duplicate fonts from the system. Re-installing did not help.
