  Photoshop CS shutting my computer off

  Over the past week using PS CS has been causing my computer to shut off instantaneously when I`m turning layers visibility on/off…happens quickly if i do it in rapid succession, but it happens when I`m using the program normally as well. No other program does this, what could be causing this to happen?
