  Photoshop CC 19.1.4 – Huge Ram Usage?

  I am having trouble with PS taking up huge amounts of ram. Have a feeling it’s a setting somewhere. However, It just started.
  I just opened a 256KB PNG file. Did a crop on it. It took about two minutes to crop. The staus at the bottom left of PS screen states Doc: 46.2G/17.4G. When I do a “Save As” my only options are PSB, RAW, PNG, & TIFF. JPG isn’t an option.
  Anyone know what the problem is?
