Photoshop Buttons – Diffference between 1.5 and 2?
I am updating a project I created with Encore 1.5, and ran into trouble converting to Encore 2, so I decided to recreate the simple DVD menu in 2. However, I have a couple of photoshop buttons that act quite differently in 2.
In 1.5, when I import the buttons as as asset and then drop them on my DVD menu, they look just fine. When I do the same thing in Encore 2, they have a solid black background the entire size of the menu, and I can’t seem to get rid of it. It doesn’t show up as a separate layer I can hide.
Is there a different way to create custom buttons in photoshop between 1.5 and 2? Or… is there a way to tell Encore 2 to drop the black background.

Try importing the PSD into the Library panel, then apply it from there.
