  Photoshop Brushes to objects

  I am not very fluent in Photoshop. I have a logo that has fluid brush strokes, like water, as part of the logo. I want to bring them into After Effects to animate the logo. I can either import into AE or Cinema 4D to add 3D. Do I change them to an object?
