  Photoshop & Bridge Questions

  I have tried a number of times to use bridge but don’t feel like I am getting the most out of it. It seems to me that it would be a lot more useful if it could watch a number directories as I add media via other programs. Is there any way to make it scan directories or entire hard drives to gather the meta data and make thumbnails? I tried searching online but could not find anything relevant.
