Photoshop Action Question
Is it possible to write an action in photoshop so that it effects numerous layer names instead of numbers such as Background or Foreground rather than the third layer.
I have a ton of graphics that I need to convert to PAL and I need to affect the background independently from the foreground and then do my resizes. The only problem is, the individual photoshop files have a different number of layers in them so I can’t write one action that will affect more that one photoshop file at a time.
Any help anyone could give me would be greatly appreciated.

You could use the script to export layers to a file, and then run the action on the entire folder.
File >> Scripts >> Export Layers To Files
