    Got a problem that seems is probably very simple to diagnosis but I am stuck.

    Have a photoshop files with layers that I need to move in post.

    For some reason FCP is importing the file as one file, not in layers.

    What is set wrong?

    Were the stills created in Photoshop on a Windows machine by any chance? If so, open them in Photoshop on a mac and re-save to a new file. They should then open in a new sequence with separate layers when imported into the FCP browser.
