Photography Digital Metar Compatiability with HD

Hi,

I have a Luna Digital meter I use for photography. Recently I purchased a Canon HD camcorder that has aperture/depth-of-field controls. My question: if I took an ambient reading with the Luna for a particular video scene, would dialing those numbers onto the camcorder produce 100% accurate exposure?

Or, to rephrase the question:

What is the ASA of most digital camcorders? Is there a trick to finding it for a particular camcorder? I use the Vixia HF s10.
