    Hullo there!

I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to keep a jpg photo from looking weird at the bottom when I zoom in. It’s the only jpg photo that I’m having this problem with…perhaps because in the image (603 x 878) there’s what looks like gravel on the ground, and each piece of gravel is so small and specific that it creates an optical illusion of the ground moving/swelling when I move?

I’ve played around with zoom rate — nothing. I tried to add a motion blur, but I’ve never worked with that effect before, so I don’t know if I was doing it right. In any case, it didn’t help.

If anyone has any other ideas, I’d love to hear ’em!

Many thanks, as always, for the super helpful support.

    Cheers,
    Marisa

Maybe you could apply a mask in photoshop to the gravel and apply a little blur?

Yep. I think a two pixel blur can clean this up. generally, it is caused by too much resolution and too many fine lines for video to handle.

Thanks, guys! I definitely want to try it but first, a silly question: I see a bunch of blur options. Which kind of blur? Gaussian? And how do I make it 2 pixels?

The 2-pixel Gaussian blur worked! Thanks, all!
