    Hi there,

I want to submit some footage to Shutter stock

On their website they have a small section/video on preferred compressions however it really doesn’t go into a lot of detail

it says either. avi. mpeg or .mov …. so .mov looks like my best bet as I work on a mac and use it all the time.

However they suggest either photo jpeg, Motion jpeg A or Motion jpeg B?

I’m guessing in terms of file size and quality that photo jpeg would be my best bet.

Apparently below 75% photo jpeg is not 4:4:4… not too sure if that is a problem.

Anyway the footage I have shot is HDV 1440×1080 1.333 progressive… which I heard is best to use with photo jpeg? and Motion jpeg A is better with interlaced footage.

I guess what I’m asking is does anyone have some good links to an online guide to codecs and wrappers 🙂

    sorry for so many questions!

    thanks for your time
