I have a series of pictures that I’d like to make into an emitter, much like the Sparkles ones (specifically the Falling Sparkles). Can this be done, somehow? Basically I want the emitter to be spewing out the pictures as I move a wand across the screen.

Alan, won’t that method produce many copies of just the same picture?

Is it possible to randomize say a group of 20 different photos to be emitted, or would you need to create 20 overlapping emiiters, or a super emitter where each minor emitter has a different photo?

You will have to import the photographs into PI as an image sequence. Then you can use this ‘particle’in your emitter and choose to use all the pictures in different particles. In that case you need only one emitter to see all the photos one by one
